W Hotel Scene on the Street Fashion Week Event hosted by Elle Magazine
What is one to do on a Thursday night? If you follow my tweets @fashion_sewing or @gregorygarvinny, you would have met me at a Mercedes-Benz NYC Fashion Week sponsored event hosted by Elle Magazine at the W Hotel.
The upscale trendy atmosphere that the W Hotel offers makes it a great place to meet friends for a drink. Shake and mix with Adam Katz Sinding. Voila! You have one fun night out in NYC. Fashion photography shots placed strategically around the event space so a merry-go-round menagerie could mingle. By my 7:30pm arrival, the event was packed.
“Scene on the Street,” which aims to bridge the gap between fashion and art, transforms the hotel’s living room into a gallery filled with photos of peacocking fashionistas. “Sinding picks subjects that are really put together, not just tall skinny girls. He has an eye for personal style, but my favorite part about him is that he’s insanely particular and always delivers five images to me each day”, says Elle Magazine’s Market Editor, Sydney Wasserman.
